Basic features

Each document you send by fax must be legible and you are responsible for ensuring we can read it.

If we cannot understand any part of the document received, we will not give a filing date to that part.

Applications which incorporate photographic or other forms of representation may involve a particular risk,  so please bear this in mind.

Where a fee is payable for a document at the time of filing, you must either have a deposit account containing adequate funds or pay by credit or debit card in order to secure a filing date. You should include a covering fee sheet with the filing.

Our fax number is +44 (0)1633 817777. Do not fax documents to any other number in the office unless we have asked you to do so.

Our fax machines are open to receive transmissions on a continuous basis, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. They automatically record the time and date of receipt of documents.

You should fax only 1 set of documents and except as detailed in confirmation copies, should not submit the original or additional copies of the document transmitted by fax until we request them.
