Qualifications

Each vacancy will have different requirements. When there are vacancies available the advert will detail the qualifications and experience required. In addition, you need to complete a competency based application form.

Administrative careers

Our administrative jobs are split into 3 bands A1, A2 and A3.

To apply for an administration job in pay span A1 you need a minimum of 2 GCSE’s at Grade C or above or an NVQ Business Administration Level 1 or equivalent.

To apply for an administration job in pay spans A2 & A3 you need a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above or an NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or equivalent.

Patent examiner careers

To apply to be a patent examiner you typically need a 1st, 2:1 or 2:2 class degree or equivalent in science, engineering or mathematics, or industrial experience at that level. However, there may be times when we target more specific subjects so please consult any active vacancies for lists of relevant degree subjects.

Specialist careers

We also advertise specialist jobs. The qualifications will vary depending on the advertised job.
