Andrew Hardingham

Finance Director

Appointed Finance Director in November 2009.

Andrew began his career in local government working in the east end of London. Whilst there he trained and qualified as a CIPFA accountant. After a brief stint as Chief Accountant in a small district council he joined Thurrock leading the financial transition as the Council became an all purpose unitary in 1998. Andrew was also part of the team that delivered a ground breaking public private partnership arrangement for support services.

Andrew joins us from Thurrock Council where his last post was Director of Resources responsible for managing in-house professional support services (including all aspects a local government finance department) and client director for the partnership.
