Mary Champion

Mary Champion is a Management Consultant, with a particular focus on strategic change programmes and IT programme management.

She started her career with Accenture, where she gained experience of all aspects of systems development, progressing to managing major strategic IT programmes for a number of Financial organisations. She then joined Galileo, one of the major Global Travel reservation providers, where she managed the department responsible for Air Bookings.

In 1997 she returned to IT Management Consultancy with Capgemini, where she was a Vice President. Her roles included management of the Programme Management business unit, with responsibility for developing and implementing continued best practice. Subsequently she was Delivery Director for Public Sector clients, with responsibility for all programmes in this area.

Since 2008 she has been working as an independent consultant, focussing on programme reviews and audits, risk management, and assisting with client and supplier management.
