How to apply: Registering your Design

You apply for Registered Design Protection by filing out the appropriate application form and paying a fee. How much does it cost?

This is the most commonly used form. Refer to DF2A notes PDF document(151Kb) for guidance on how to complete the form, and also the How to apply to register a design booklet PDF document(1.11Mb) with the changes in application procedure.


Surplus design application form DF2B PDF document(21Kb)

Use this form if applying for designs included in an earlier application filed with a form DF2A.

Please send your application to our address below. You must include your filled in DF2A and fee sheet forms, one copy of the illustrations of your design, and your fee.
