You may need to involve others to develop, manage or market your IP. There are many organisations that may be able to help, for example, universities, colleges, business angels and invention promoters.

Remember to keep your invention secret and use confidentiality agreements when speaking to others about your idea, especially before applying for a patent. You should also agree who will own any IP rights that result from a collaboration.
