File patent forms and/or documents for a pending UK patent application - guidance notes
If you have made a UK patent application, you may need to file additional patent forms and/or documents in order to proceed with your application. Once you have your GB patent application number (GBnnnnnnn.n), you can use this online service to web file the following patent forms and/or documents for that application.
Important:
You should not use this web form if:
- Your application contains information about military technology or could harm national security or public safety.
- You wish to pay for your filing by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
- The patent form or document you wish to file is not listed below.

Please note that this web form can only be used to file the forms and documents listed above and you can only file documents for one UK patent application at a time. Other forms and documents, e.g. post grant amendments, corrections, later filed descriptions, priority documents, missing pages, etc. should not be filed using this web form.
