Rome 1 Consultation

The Ministry of Justice has launched a consultation on whether the UK should opt into Rome 1 . Rome 1 is intended to provide clarity over which law applies if a dispute arises over a contract made between people or businesses from different countries, and therefore has some relevance to IP matters (for example, cross-border IP licences).
