Electronic filing at the Patent Office

The consultation paper sets out proposals for amending the Patents Act 1977 and Patents Rules 1995 to facilitate and provide a firm basis for regulating electronic communication with the Patent Office.

The consultation is directed at anyone interested in the operation of the patent system in the United Kingdom, but especially from those who have been, are, or expect to be users of the system.
