The consultation proposes a streamlined trade mark opposition procedure. Proposals are detailed for addressing the burden of opposition and the consequent changes the primary legislation. A number of other changes are proposed, in particular, a proposed fee changes to reflect the actual costs of operating the inter partes dispute resolution system.
The consultation is directed to all users.
