Collective cross border management of copyright and related rights for legitimate online services
This notice is to alert you to the recent call by the European Commission
for comments on initial experiences on how the online sector has developed since the adoption of its
recommendation on collective cross border management of copyright and related rights for legitimate
online services. The call for comments can be found here 
In its recommendation the Commission invited Member
States and collective rights managers to report on measures taken in this area. The Commission has requested
comments by 1 July 2007, but it would be helpful in informing any Government response if you could
copy your comments by 1 June 2007 to Janette McNeill at the following
