Finding the answers
This work to develop a long term vision on copyright was not intended to be a ‘traditional’ consultation process. The initial focus was on engagement, to listen to a wide range of views on what the issues are and get a proper debate started.
We talked to many people, including consumers, SMEs
and creators from right across the country to our more traditional stakeholder groups. A number of events
took place in February and March 2009 and reports on these events have now been published.
We have also received a number of responses to the Issues Paper
(485Kb).
We have considered these inputs carefully and they are reflected in the © the way ahead: A strategy for copyright in the digital age. (make this reference a link to the first page which will have the report on it and the Ministerial foreword.
