Requests for statement of grounds of decision
Before you can appeal a decision from us, you will require a written decision or statement of grounds. This will outline the facts of the case that we have used in coming to our decision.
At the end of an inter partes case a statement of grounds is always produced.
A written decision will be produced following interlocutory or ex parte decisions. In these circumstances, you may use this letter as the decision for the purpose of lodging the appeal.
