Correspondence changes from 1 October 2009

As a further improvement to our e-business services we are pleased to inform you that for all new e-filed applications filed on or after 1 October 2009 we will correspond with you via email. We are currently in a position to do this for trade mark examination correspondence up to the notice of journal publication.

We will use the email address provided on the application form (e-tm3), so please ensure that you provide the address that you wish all communications to be sent.

This is one of a number of changes that are being introduced from 1 October 2009 and further details of the other changes can be found in the attached notice.

Please note that if you use the save for later function available on the online application form prior to the 1 October 2009 and return to it after that date you will need to comply with these changes.
