Request to receive notification of conflicting later filed marks (OPT-IN)

Owners (or their Representatives) of Community Trade Marks and International Trade Marks designating (covering) the European Community may OPT-IN to receive notification of any later filed conflicting trade mark applications. This can be done by completing a form TM6 which will be available to be completed electronically on our website from 1 October 2007. The fee will be GBP £50 per mark and will be valid for a period of 3 years.

Owners (or their Representatives) of UK filed trade marks and International trade marks designating (covering) the UK, will be notified of any later filed conflicting marks. If you do not wish to be notified of any later filed conflicting marks you should write to the UK Intellectual Property Office requesting to OPT-OUT of the notification system.
