Registering a caveat on a UK trade mark
It will cost you nothing to register an electronic caveat, and we will e-mail you whenever anything happens to the mark. We cannot tell you when the case changes for a particular reason. If you want to know that, then you should use our paid caveat service.
You can ask us to notify you of any of the following events or actions:
- application published, or withdrawn, refused or deemed abandoned before publication;
- opposition filed against an application;
- application registered, or withdrawn, refused or abandoned after publication;
- registration not renewed;
- registration renewed or expired;
- registration surrendered or revoked;
- assignment application received;
- mark assigned, either partially or in full;
- anything else.
