Correcting an error

You can correct an error in your design in the following ways:

• your application form (except name and address); or
• the illustrations of your design; or
• the register of designs

This can be done via the form DF16A. The form can also be used to alter the name or address of the proprietor where there is no change to the legal ownership.

There is no fee for this.

Please use our Proprietor Search to make sure you have listed all the Designs affected.

On occasion it may be necessary for us to request further evidence to confirm the correction.
