How to pay us
You can pay your fees in any of the following ways.
Credit or debit card
We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro and Solo. Please note that we will not accept card payments for:
- international patent fees (other than the transmittal fee) payable under the Patent Co-operation Treaty (PCT);
- international trade mark fees (other than the handling charge) payable under the Madrid Protocol; or
- topping up a deposit account.
Cheque
Make your cheque payable to 'Intellectual Property Office'.
Payments from overseas must be in sterling (GBP) drawn on a United Kingdom clearing bank.
