Cancelling your registered design

You can cancel your design registration at any time. This action is usually taken

• to avoid legal action such as infringement proceedings; or
• because of an application to remove the registered design by a third party

To invalidate or cancel your own registration, fill in form DF19C (73Kb). There is no charge for this.
