What happens if the applicant fails to authorise the Intellectual Property Office to retrieve a priority document from PDAS?

If the Intellectual Property Office is informed by WIPO that it is not authorised to retrieve a priority document from PDAS the applicant will be informed within 5 working days of receipt of the notification from WIPO. Using the unique access code the applicant may then update PDAS to give appropriate authorisation to the Intellectual Property Office. The applicant will have to advise the Intellectual Property Office; in writing that authorisation has been given, together with the appropriate date.
