How do I request the Intellectual Property Office to retrieve a PDAS priority document?

If you file the application claiming priority via Web Filing or Electronic Online Filing (eOLF), on the screens headed Priority Claim Details/Priority Details you can confirm that the priority document may be retrieved via PDAS. You will also be required to state the date that the priority document was made available on PDAS. This is the date you authorised the Intellectual Property Office access to the document using theWeb portal .

If you file the application claiming priority on paper then you must state on the Form 1 or in a covering letter that the priority document may be retrieved via PDAS. Again, you will also be required to state the date that the priority document was made available on PDAS.
