Applying for a trade mark using the paper form
Before filling in a paper form, you should be aware that there are a number of advantages to making your application online
- you qualify for a discount of £30 for each application filed.
- you can use our Right Start examination services. (no discount applies)
- your examination report will be e-mailed to you.
Application fee and altering your mark
Please note that we cannot refund your application fee for any reason and you cannot alter your trade mark after you have sent us your form.
Publishing of name and address details
The name and address of the owner of the trade mark and any representative that is provided, will appear permanently on our website shortly after we receive your application form.
If we accept your application, it will be published in our Trade Mark Journal. Here the name and address of the owner and representative is searchable on the internet using standard search engines. If you want to, you can provide a different address, for example, a solicitor's address or PO Box number.
