Part surrender of a trade mark

You can use the form TM23 (219Kb) to surrender some of the rights in your mark such as some of the goods or services registered.  Once surrendered the rights cannot be reinstated.

There is no fee for this.

You must also list everyone who has a legal interest in your mark.

What happens next?

We will examine your request and if necessary contact you in writing for further clarification. Once we are satisfied that the part-surrender can proceed we will record the part-surender on the register of Trade Marks and confirm this in writing.
