Summary
The invention relates to Self Generating Electric Vehicle (SGEV) having an alternator associated with a drive-wheel of a vehicle in order to recharge an onboard battery and for extending the range of travel. Although it is very brief, the description says that the vehicle can self-generate its own energy. The Hearing Officer decided that the invention could not work in the way described as it would contravene the well-established first law of thermodynamics. The application was refused for not being capable of industrial application and for not describing the invention in a clear or sufficient manner for it to be performed by a person skilled in the art.
