Summary
The applicant appeared to be trying to protect the use of 0 and 1 in computer technology. The specification referred to the use of prior art zeroes and ones with cuneiform grammar as used in 'programming binary encoding for data memory with bits and qubits in microchip crystals for software design'. The Hearing Officer concluded that the specification was not clear enough or complete enough to enable a person skilled in the art to perform the invention. He also found that the claims were unclear, and agreed that the application appeared to relate to something that is not an invention for the purposes of the Act. The applicant appeared to have completely misunderstood the patent system, and had not actually invented anything.
