The applications relate to apparatus for generating electricity comprising a motor to convert electrical energy stored in a battery to mechanical energy to drive an alternator. The alternator converts that mechanical energy into electrical energy to charge the battery of the power module and batteries of an electric vehicle. No other power sources are required. The hearing officer considered whether the invention was capable of industrial application and concluded that it was not, as the invention could not function in the manner described in the applications without contravening well-established physical laws. The Hearing Officer also found the applications to be insufficient. The applications were refused.
