Summary

The application relates to the remote control and monitoring of infant care apparatus. Following SABAF, the invention was found to be a collocation of two integers: (a) using a device with a touch screen and a graphic user interface to remotely control one or more infant care apparatuses and (b) sending a warning signal to a remote device when a sensed signal exceeds a predetermined value. Applying the Windsurfing/Pozzoli test separately to these two integers the claims were found to lack the required inventive step and the application was refused under section 18(3).
