Summary

The invention related to the configuration of technical equipment by propagating configuration changes from a master to a duplicate whilst checking for any conflicts. Despite the independent claims having a number of clarity issues, the hearing officer was able to construe the claims and concluded that the invention made a technical contribution and was not therefore excluded from patentability as a program for a computer as such. He remitted the application back to the examiner for consideration of the clarity of the claims.
