Summary
The application, which relates to a bag for cleaning a bike and its wheels, is being processed without professional representation. The examiner had raised a number of objections regarding the latest amendments filed. He had also objected that the response from the applicant was received some 15 months after the response date set by the examiner. The hearing officer, having heard from the applicant decided that the circumstances were such that discretion should be exercised to allow the late filed response. The amendments filed by the applicant did not however address any of the other objections raised by the examiner. The applicant was invited to file further amendments if he wished to continue with the application.
