Summary

The application relates to a heat generator which can be used to provide heat, generate hot water or as part of a water treatment/desalination system in which fluid is heated by the heat generated in a conducting cylinder/disc by intersecting magnetic fields. The hearing officer found that the orientation of the poles of the magnets in this application would be obvious to a person skilled in the art in light of the prior art and common general knowledge. The application was refused.
