Summary

The invention is concerned with a method of representing patrol routes taken by law enforcement patrols and indicating on a map on an electronic device a crime deterrent effect provided by those law enforcement patrols in a geographic area with the effect displayed based on the type of patrol. The description explains that historically it has been difficult to visualise the effect of law enforcement patrols and to link this with crime trends. The Hearing Officer found the invention to be excluded as a computer program, the presentation of information and as a method of doing business and therefore refused the application.
