Summary
As a result of an uncontested reference and application filed under section 37 and rule 10(2) by Alfa Laval Corporate AB it was found that Daniel John Bulbuc, David Harold Childs, Thaddeus Eugene Kizior and Kevin Reid should be mentioned as joint inventors along with Leonard Borgström and Lasse Hurnasti in respect of patent number EP (UK) 2628544 and therefore under section 39 of the Patents Act 1977 Syncrude Canada Ltd should be named as a joint proprietor. It was directed that the patents register be updated and an addendum slip be prepared to reflect this finding.
