Summary

An uncontested application was filed by Gen-Probe Incorporated the patent proprietor, under section 37 of the Patents Act 1977. As a result, it was found that Gen-Probe Incorporated should have been named as sole proprietor in respect of patent EP(UK) 2429709 and that Stratec Biomedical AG should not have been named as co-proprietor of the patent. It was also directed that an addendum slip be prepared to reflect this for the granted patent for the invention.
