An uncontested application was filed by the proprietor, Biontech SE, Universität Stuttgart and Tron-Translationale Onkologie An Der Universitäts Medizin der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz GGMBH, under Section 13(1) of the Patents Act 1977. As a result, it was found that Harald Wajant should be mentioned as joint inventor in the granted patent along with Ugur Sahin, Friederike Gieseke, Ronald Backer, Sebastian Kreiter, Roland Kontermann, Klaus Pfizenmaier, Sina Fellermaier and Dafne Muller. It was also directed that an addendum slip adding Harald Wajant be prepared for the granted patent.
