Summary
GB 2479023 relates to a construction panel providing insulating properties especially to the external surfaces of a building. The claimant argued that the patent was invalid on the basis that the invention was not novel or inventive, that the specification did not disclose the invention clearly and completely enough for it to be performed by a person skilled in the art and that matter disclosed in the specification of the patent extended beyond that disclosed in the application for a patent as filed. In response to the claim the patent proprietor filed unconditional amendments however these were not accepted by the claimant. The hearing officer however concluded that the patent as proposed to be amended was valid.
