Summary

The invention is concerned with a shoe which comprises a display which extends all around the whole length of the ground engaging body of the shoe and can be conformed to the shape of the shoe. The invention may also be waterproof protected, have a cavity cut out to accommodate a screen depth, have the capability for solar power, an on/off function, a re-chargeable USB socket/port, an LED battery indicator light, infrared communications and/or a QWERTY keyboard.

The Hearing Officer found that the claims, in so far as they could be understood, lacked novelty and did not involve an inventive step. She refused the application under section 18(3).
